Notification: Legislators are publicly elected officials. Communications with Legislators involving legislative business may be subject to the Right to Know provisions of Montana's Constitution and may be considered a "public record" pursuant to Montana law. As such, email sent or received, its sender and receiver, and the email's contents and attachments, may be subject to public disclosure, except as otherwise provided by Montana law.
Outside of a legislative session, the legislative branch does not maintain staff or facilities through which constituents may contact their legislators.
Instead, constituents may contact legislators directly through any of the means listed under the Address and Email (if provided) headings on their individual webpages.
Individual webpages may be found by clicking on a legislator's name on the legislative roster.
The 67th Legislature convenes January 4, 2021. The Legislative Information Desk began operation that day. Regular office hours during the session are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to adjournment on Saturdays. Callers may leave messages for legislators or acquire general legislative information by calling the Information Desk at (406) 444-4800. Callers may leave messages for up to 5 individual legislators or 1 legislative committee per call.
The Session Information Desk is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 8 a.m. to adjournment on Saturdays.
Constituents may contact legislators directly through any of the means listed under the Address and Email (if provided) headings on their individual webpages which can be found on the legislative roster.
